During Covid-19 pandemic, ARDS distributed rice bags to the needy poor people in the villages.
Gaja Cyclone: GAJA CYCLONE RELIEF ACTIVITY: In regard to Gaja Cyclone relief activity, we have supplied food materials to 230 families covering 140 dalits (Scheduled Castes) and 90 Most backward community people of Kuttiyapillai Kattilai, Manjakanni, Annappankadu, Aariyankadu of Nagapattinam District in Tamil Nadu on 28.12.2018 with aid from Castricum helpt Muttathara, The Netherlands.
Thamirabarani River Cleaning: SWACHHTA PAKWADHA CALENDER 2018 Cleaning of River Tamirabarani nearer to Cheranmahadevi, Tirunelveli District, Tamil Nadu. The combined work done by the Secretary and Staff of Arasan Rural Development Society, Kalakad and Students of St. Joseph College of Education, Kadamboduvalvu in Tirunelveli District, Tamil Nadu participated.
POLIO IMMUNISATION: Since 1996 onwards, ARDS in collaboration with PHC Thirukkurungudi giving Polio drops to the children below 5 years by setting a separate booth in Kalakad Old Bus-Stand, Kalakad in Tirunelveli District.
